I’m Simon Davies and I specialise in legal documents for private clients.

I’m a Member of the Society of Will Writing, which means that I’m vetted to meet stringent requirements, proficiency standards, and ongoing training.

In terms of location, I live in North Wales and I spend a few days every week working in Manchester. Most of my clients are in North Wales and the North West of England.

I like to meet my clients in person wherever possible, so it works well if you’re based near me. But if you’re further afield, I’m happy to use video calls to give a personal service.

In fact, giving a personal service to my clients is really important to me. You may or may not be aware that some other Will-writing services use sales callers for the initial meetings, then pass their completed template to back office, who complete the work.

That’s not how I work.

I like to get to know my clients. I take the instructions. I give the advice. And I draft your legal documents. It’s a fully joined-up service and you only ever deal with me.

I like to think that I’m a fairly approachable, and friendly person. I put my clients at ease and answer any questions you have in a straightforward way, without the jargon or grandiose language.

How I work

With any new client, I usually begin with an initial call. This is a free 15-minute phone call and there’s no obligation to take it further if you don’t want to. I use the initial call as an exploratory chat where we talk about what type of support you need and I explain my fees.

If you’d like to take it further, we then have a full consultation. This lasts for about an hour.. I’ll dig a bit deeper to understand your situation and take instructions. The full consultation can be done face-to-face at my office, or in the comfort of your own home. Or we can do it by video call.

The cost of the consultation is included in the price of drafting your Will.
